Reduce Pain. Stimulate Healing. Move Freely.

SoftWave Therapy uses advanced acoustic wave technology to increase blood flow, activate stem cells to repair tissue, reduce pain and inflammation, and help the body’s natural healing process – without surgery, injections, or medication.

SoftWave Therapy

Advanced, Non-Invasive Joint, Muscle & Tissue Healing

At Restore Lab, SoftWave Therapy is our signature recovery service. It is designed for people who want a non-invasive option to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support tissue healing so they can return to the activities they love.

SoftWave uses electrohydraulic acoustic wave technology to deliver broad-focused acoustic waves into targeted areas of injured or irritated tissue. These waves help stimulate the body’s own repair response by increasing blood flow, activating connective tissue, enhancing cellular signaling, and promoting tissue recovery. Treatment is performed in a comfortable outpatient setting, with no needles, no medication, and no required downtime.

How Does SoftWave Work?

Learn how SoftWave Therapy helps activate the body’s natural healing response and supports pain relief, recovery, and improved mobility.

What Is SoftWave Therapy?

SoftWave Therapy is a form of extracorporeal shockwave therapy that uses acoustic pressure waves applied through a handheld treatment applicator. The treatment is non-invasive and commonly used in musculoskeletal recovery settings to support the healing of tendons, ligaments, fascia, muscles, joints, and other soft tissues.

SoftWave does not mask pain with medication. Instead, it is intended to stimulate a biological response in the treated tissue – including increased local circulation, activation of stem cells, reduced inflammation, and improved tissue repair signaling. Some clients feel relief quickly, while longer-term improvement typically develops over a series of treatments as the body continues the healing process.

Why Patients Choose SoftWave

Experience a non-invasive recovery option designed to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing process.

Fast, Convenient Sessions

Most SoftWave sessions are brief, usually about 15-20 minutes once the treatment area is identified. There is no anesthesia, no injection, and no required recovery period afterward.

Non-Invasive

SoftWave is performed through the skin using a treatment wand. No surgery, no needles, no medication, and no incision are required.

Supports Healing at the Tissue Level

SoftWave is designed to stimulate the body’s natural recovery response by activating your body’s stem cells and promoting natural tissue regeneration and cellular repair activity in the targeted area.

Designed for More Than Symptom Relief

Rather than simply covering up discomfort, SoftWave supports the healing environment around irritated or injured tissue. For many clients, the goal is better movement, better function, and more durable recovery.

PT-Led Screening and Guidance

Restore Lab combines certified technology training with Liz’s clinical background as a practicing Physical Therapist. We evaluate each client, identify appropriate goals, and recommend a practical treatment plan tailored to the individual, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
